Amanda Gosse recently joined our growing team. Amanda Gosse is an Assistant Advocate and reports to SVP & Team Leader Darcy Franko-Felice. She works closely with ALIGNED colleagues across Canada.
Amanda is proud to be part of the ALIGNED Insurance team. In her own words, here’s what Amanda has to say about ALIGNED.
Q. Why did you join ALIGNED?
Amanda: I joined ALIGNED because I admire the company’s growth and success. As well, I appreciate the warm culture here at ALIGNED Insurance.
Q. How did you first hear about ALIGNED?
Amanda: I first heard about ALIGNED on LinkedIn. I was searching job postings and companies when I came across a posting for ALIGNED. The Assistant Advocate role outlined matched well with my career to date so I also reviewed ALIGNED’s Linkedin page and website. I thought ALIGNED would be the perfect fit for me so I applied. The rest is history!
Q. In your opinion, what sets ALIGNED Insurance apart?
Amanda: I think what sets ALIGNED Insurance apart in the marketplace is our range of products and services. Our Giving Frequently monthly donations to Canadian charities as well as our annual Giving Generously social responsibility campaign also make us stand out. What also sets ALIGNED apart are the kind and helpful team members.
Q. Why did you choose an insurance career?
Amanda: I chose a career in insurance because I had wanted a change of pace from previous work experience and wanted to build my career. Through my searches of possibilities, insurance stood out as the most interesting option. After working in the industry, what I can say is that I love all different aspects insurance has to offer – especially the different growth and learning opportunities.
Q. Tell us about your most recent professional designations.
Amanda: With almost 10 years working in the insurance industry, I have extensive skills in internal and external customer service. I have learned a lot from each role I’ve had. From claims assistant to broker coordinator, it’s very clear to me that customer care is the most important. I build on these skills every day to ensure that I am able to deliver excellent support to ALIGNED clients.

Q. In your opinion, what’s the single most important service an insurance broker delivers to a client?
Amanda: I think the most important service that an insurance broker delivers is expertise and the ability to make insurance as easy to understand and as straight-forward as possible.
Q. Which of ALIGNED’s 18 points of differentiation do you find the most personally meaningful and why?
Amanda: The differentiation that I find most personally meaningful is direct access to ALIGNED Advocates. This lets our clients know that they have reliable access to our advocates. This also means that clients know whatever their insurance needs may be, they will be handled by their business insurance Advocate without jumping through any hoops.
24/7 Claims Reporting is is another important one, it shows how dependable ALIGNED is no matter the time or the day – in the most stressful moments, claims can be easily reported to a real, live person at our Claims Reporting Centre.
