About Us | Why Kate Blanchard is proud to be ALIGNED’s Customer Experience Manager
Our focus on commercial insurance is one of many reasons why people choose to join the Canadian ALIGNED team. Customer Experience Manager Kate Blanchard reports to SVP Darcy Franko-Felice and works out of our National Operations Centre in Cambridge, Ontario.
Kate recently shared some insights as to why she is proud to be part of the ALIGNED Insurance team. In her own words, here’s what Kate has to say about ALIGNED.
Q. How did you first hear about ALIGNED?
Kate: I found ALIGNED completely by chance, I was only in the early stages of researching a new career move when I received a job alert from ALIGNED. When reading about the company and learning what they stood for, I knew it was a company heading in the right direction, and one I would be proud and excited to be a part of.

Q. Why did you join ALIGNED?
Kate: I was looking to join a company that was progressive, and conscious of staying ahead of the curve. From my very first impression of the company, I knew the role would be a great new start towards a career in the insurance industry
Q. In your opinion, what sets ALIGNED Insurance apart?
Kate: The people, for sure. I have always believed the right people in the right positions makes all the difference with how a business strives. ALIGNED’s smaller sized, family-like culture reflects in the way our brokers interact with our clients as well.

Q. Why did you choose an insurance career?
Kate: I come from a very different industry where I felt unstable and that growth was limited. As a young professional I carefully considered different avenues where I could offer my strengths and in return could grow and develop with stability. I knew insurance would provide the stability in life I was looking for, while being able to offer my skills and passion of helping others.
Q. Which of ALIGNED’s 18 points of differentiation do you find the most personally meaningful and why?
Kate: For me personally, I believe the Our Corporate Social Responsibility Program truly sets us apart. I am very socially conscious, and this program is just another way this company goes the extra mile to set itself apart from the competition
While there are many things that we do differently – 18 in fact – we are most proud to align better solutions as well as more value for Canadian businesses. Our mission is to deliver a different kind of insurance brokerage experience to our clients.
