As part of our commitment to give regularly, every month an ALIGNED Advocate selects a Canadian charity of their choice and ALIGNED makes a donation to that organization on their behalf. In recognition of the great work they do, Kimberley Richards has selected Crohn’s and Colitis Canada for the month of May 2017.

Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is a national, volunteer-based charity dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and bettering the lives of everyone affected by these diseases.
For over 40 years, Crohn’s and Colitis Canada has led the way in giving Canadians affected by these diseases hope, education, support, and an understanding community. Their mission is to inform patients, families, industry and governments about Crohn’s and colitis, and improve the quality of life of those afflicted by these chronic ailments.

Crohn’s and Colitis Canada collaborates with volunteers and healthcare professionals to achieve their objectives to foster developments in prevention, treatments, cures and health policy. Due to the generosity of supporters, they have invested more than $100 million dollars in research to date and are one of the top two health charity funders of Crohn’s and colitis research in the entire world.
